BA4: Electrical voltage and Ohm's Law
Description
In this course, you explore the core principles of electrical voltage, current, and resistance through Ohm's Law. Guided by Marcel, a retired electrician, you learn to identify different voltage systems and apply safety-relevant knowledge during inspection routines. By the end, you will be able to recognize common electrical configurations and understand how voltage, current, and resistance relate to each other.
After this course you can
- Identify different voltage systems (e.g. 230V, 400V, 3-phase)
- Explain the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance using Ohm's Law
- Apply Ohm's Law to calculate values in basic electrical circuits
- Recognize safe and unsafe electrical configurations in a workplace setting
- Distinguish between correct and incorrect electrical inspection practices
