Description
This course covers the most important safety symbols used to identify hazardous substances in the workplace. You will learn what each symbol means and what risks are associated with different categories of dangerous materials. By the end of this training, you will be able to correctly interpret and respond to hazard warnings in your work environment.
After this course you can
- Recognize the most common safety symbols for hazardous substances
- Name the different categories of hazardous substances (e.g. explosive, flammable, oxidizing)
- Explain the risks associated with each hazard symbol
- Apply knowledge of safety symbols to correctly identify dangers in the workplace
- Match hazard symbols to their correct descriptions and categories
