Description
This course teaches you how to act quickly and correctly when a colleague faints or loses consciousness. You will follow a clear 4-step plan covering scene safety, assessing responsiveness, calling for help, and providing first aid. By the end, you will be prepared to respond confidently in a real emergency situation.
After this course you can
- Recognize when a colleague is unconscious and requires immediate help
- Apply Step 1: Ensure a safe situation before approaching the victim
- Apply Step 2: Assess the responsiveness and condition of the victim
- Apply Step 3: Call for professional emergency assistance
- Apply Step 4: Provide appropriate first aid until help arrives
- Follow the complete 4-step first aid plan in the correct order
