Description
This course covers the correct use of a fire blanket as a first-response firefighting tool in the workplace. You will learn when and how to deploy a fire blanket, as well as important safety considerations to keep in mind. By the end of this training, you will be able to act quickly and confidently in the event of a small fire.

- Identify situations in which a fire blanket is the appropriate firefighting tool
- Describe the correct steps for deploying a fire blanket safely
- Recognize the limitations of a fire blanket compared to other extinguishing methods
- Apply proper safety procedures before, during, and after using a fire blanket
- Explain when to sound the internal alarm and escalate to emergency services
