Description
This course covers the essential steps to take when a fire starts in the workplace. You will learn how to raise the alarm, when to attempt to extinguish a fire, and when to evacuate. By the end, you will be able to respond confidently and correctly in a fire emergency.
After this course you can
- Identify the correct first steps to take when a small fire is discovered
- Explain when to activate the internal and external alarm
- Demonstrate the correct use of a fire extinguisher
- Recognize when evacuation is the appropriate response
- Apply the correct sequence of actions during a fire emergency
