Description
This course covers the essential steps to take when you encounter an unconscious victim who is still breathing. You will learn how to open the airways, check for breathing, and place the victim in the recovery position. By the end of this training, you will be able to act confidently and correctly in this life-saving situation.
After this course you can
- Identify the correct steps to take when encountering an unconscious victim
- Apply the head-tilt chin-lift technique to open the airways
- Check for normal breathing in an unconscious person
- Place an unconscious breathing victim in the correct recovery position
- Explain when and how to call for emergency services
